1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using Scribify ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. Nature of service
Scribify is a productivity tool that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to transcribe voice notes, organize job data, and suggest potential regulatory compliance requirements based on user input.
3. No professional or legal advice
You acknowledge that:
- The AI may produce inaccurate or incomplete results ("hallucinations")
- You, the user, are the licensed professional responsible for verifying all data
- You are solely responsible for the final submission of any regulatory forms (e.g., TSSA, EPA, ODP) and ensuring they comply with local laws
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law in the United States and Canada, the Developer and its affiliates shall NOT be liable for:
- Any fines, penalties, or legal actions resulting from reliance on the App's compliance suggestions
- Loss of data, profits, or business interruption
- Errors in AI-generated reports
The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.
5. User responsibilities
You agree to:
- Review all AI-generated reports for accuracy before sending them to clients
- Not use the App to record individuals without their consent where prohibited by law
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
6. Subscriptions & payments
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
- You may cancel at any time via your device settings. Refunds are not provided for partial subscription periods
7. Data & privacy
We process your voice data and images to provide the Service. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of this data to third-party AI providers for processing. We do not sell your personal data.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
8.1 "As-is" service provision
Scribify, including all speech-to-text transcriptions, AI-generated report summaries, equipment diagnostics suggestions, safety vitals checks, and billing/hour estimations, is provided strictly on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
8.2 Duty of independent verification
You (the technician, user, or business owner) acknowledge and agree that Scribify is an administrative productivity assistant only. The technician remains solely responsible for independently verifying all technical measurements, equipment vitals, compliance fields, safety checklists, and billing hours prior to finalizing, signing, or transmitting any report to a client, property owner, or third party. Scribify does not inspect physical equipment or guarantee regulatory code compliance.
8.3 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scribify (and its owners, developers, and affiliates) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, property damage, equipment failure, safety violations, or client disputes resulting from errors or omissions in generated reports.

- For users in the United States: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware
- For users in Canada: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein
